MDKO as a non-profit organization brings together people of Kenyan origin living in Maryland and mobilizes funding for charitable work within the Kenyan community.
MDKO is organized exclusively for charitable purposes under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code, or corresponding sections of any future federal tax code.
Such charitable work may include assistance to distressed members of the Kenyan community who may experience unexpected disasters from time to time.
